Shirley Willis Executive Director
It has been my honor to be with the Lighthouse since 2004. I have a degree in Human Services and have worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities for over 35 years; it is my passion in life.
I am married to my amazing husband Kip for almost 25 years. He is my biggest supporter and best friend. We have 2 amazing children, Jena 23 and Alec 19. Jena is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus in MN and a 4 year NCAA college softball player. She is now a graduate student and will obtain her masters in Social Work next year. Alec is a 2nd year student at Western Washington University in Bellingham majoring in secondary education and political science. I am also a retired softball and basketball coach. I still enjoy helping Jena coach her softball teams as she follows in my footsteps and beyond. Kip and I enjoy fishing, exploring, concerts and sitting on our front porch listening to the creek.
The Lighthouse residents, families and board inspire me every day to be the best I can be. I take my responsibility of leading the staff to provide lives full of God filled purpose and meaning for all our residents and participants very serious. There is no greater sense of fulfilment in life than to be of service.
